On clique-perfect and K-perfect graphs

چکیده
A graph G is clique-perfect if the cardinality of a maximum cliqueindependent set of H is equal to the cardinality of a minimum cliquetransversal of H, for every induced subgraph H of G. When equality holds for every clique subgraph of G, the graph is c–clique-perfect. A graph G is K-perfect when its clique graph K(G) is perfect. In this work, relations are described among the classes of perfect, Kperfect, clique-perfect and c–clique-perfect graphs. Besides, partial characterizations of K-perfect graphs using polyhedral theory and clique subgraphs are formulated.

Cohen-Macaulay $r$-partite graphs with minimal clique cover
In this paper, we give some necessary conditions for an $r$-partite graph such that the edge ring of the graph is Cohen-Macaulay. It is proved that if there exists a cover of an $r$-partite Cohen-Macaulay graph by disjoint cliques of size $r$, then such a cover is unique.
متن کاملPartial characterizations of clique-perfect graphs II: Diamond-free and Helly circular-arc graphs
A clique-transversal of a graph G is a subset of vertices that meets all the cliques of G. A clique-independent set is a collection of pairwise vertex-disjoint cliques. A graph G is clique-perfect if the sizes of a minimum clique-transversal and a maximum clique-independent set are equal for every induced subgraph ofG. The list of minimal forbidden induced subgraphs for the class of clique-perf...
متن کاملThe Normal Graph Conjecture is true for Circulants
Normal graphs are defined in terms of cross-intersecting set families: a graph is normal if it admits a clique cover Q and a stable set cover S s.t. every clique in Q intersects every stable set in S. Normal graphs can be considered as closure of perfect graphs by means of co-normal products (K ̈orner [6]) and graph entropy (Czisz ́ar et al. [5]). Perfect graphs have been recently characterized a...
متن کاملOn the Clique-Width of Perfect Graph Classes
Graphs of clique–width at most k were introduced by Courcelle, Engelfriet and Rozenberg (1993) as graphs which can be defined by k-expressions based on graph operations which use k vertex labels. In this paper we study the clique–width of perfect graph classes. On one hand, we show that every distance–hereditary graph, has clique– width at most 3, and a 3–expression defining it can be obtained ...
متن کاملIntersection graphs associated with semigroup acts
The intersection graph $mathbb{Int}(A)$ of an $S$-act $A$ over a semigroup $S$ is an undirected simple graph whose vertices are non-trivial subacts of $A$, and two distinct vertices are adjacent if and only if they have a non-empty intersection. In this paper, we study some graph-theoretic properties of $mathbb{Int}(A)$ in connection to some algebraic properties of $A$. It is proved that the fi...
